 Happy Summer Heatwave to you all!   Thankfully as I type this newsletter the 2nd heatwave of the summer is behind us, the air is cooler & we can all focus again!!   We are  working on the newcomers awards only this term, all other existing swimmers will get their award at Christmas.  If you think you’re missing an award, from a previous term please ask at the desk, we have a Master List of the last 7 awards the swimmers have achieved & we’ll be happy to dig it out for you.

It’s important for us to know if you will be continuing onto the next course. Once we know this, we will be able to open our waiting list. Before that however, the new schedule of existing swimmers must be in place.  Swimmers will stay at the same swim time as they move through the groups, unless we think another group is more appropriate for their ability or you request a time change. To enable us to plan the right groups we would ask you to let us know at the desk, asap if you have a preferred swim time for next term.  As always, we will do our best to accommodate you.

DIARY DATES:  

·       Last swim before SUMMER                             JULY 18TH    

·       AUTUMN Course starts                            SEPTEMBER 12TH  

·       Half Term (no swimming)                              OCT 24TH & 31ST

·       Last swim before CHRISTMAS                       DEC 12TH  

The AUTUMN course will run for 12 weeks and your fees will be £108.00.  For the one-hour CLUB SWIMMERS the fee is £156.  After one term Club swimmers can ‘Pay Per Swim’ @ £13 per lesson.  Note to our club swimmers -Should you have a school buddy or friend, who might like to be a ‘swim buddy’ to not only get fit but improve their swim technique and have fun on a Saturday, please invite them to join in at the 3 o’clock Club session for a free trial lesson. They must be able to swim 25 metres. We’ll do the rest!

FEES are payable at the front desk anytime from now, but can we politely ask that fees be paid before the half term break. We also have the facility for BACS payments online but if you need to, you can still pay cash.  AWARDS TWICE A YEAR ARE INCLUDED IN YOUR FEES.

Swimmers should use their designated changing room from the age of 8 unaided. Parents, if you need to assist your child who is younger than 8 please take your little one into the changing room which you would use yourself.

NO PAPARAZZI! ABSOLUTELY NO PHOTOGRAPHY OR FILMING ON OR AROUND THE POOLSIDE IS ALLOWED ON ANY DEVICE

Parents, could you ensure that children do not sit on the wall whilst watching siblings’ swim. Please tie longer hair back or wear a swimming hat.  Encourage children to use the loo and blow noses prior to swimming.  Absolutely no running in the changing room areas, please and arrive on time for lessons. It’s important not to miss the first 5 to 10 minutes of the ‘warm up’ section of a lesson!

SWIMMERS, PLEASE RESPECT OTHER SWIMMER’S BELONGINGS IN THE CHANGING ROOMS,  ALSO OTHER SWIMMERS SPACE AND THE LANGUAGE YOU USE, WITH VERY YOUNG SWIMMERS & PARENTS/GRANDPARENTS ATTENDING, WE EXPECT RESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR WITHIN OUR PREMISES.
